All steps, from planning the design to manufacturing and commissioning, are carried out at our facility. On request, we can also offer on site installation. Induction sessions for operating personnel regarding the special features of the system and final acceptance by an approved crane specialists are a matter of course for us.

Control units

Whether standard or customised control units – we can implement any customer requirement for control units quickly and easily.

Erich Schäfer GmbH & Co. KG has been manufacturing control units for cranes, general conveyor technology and special purpose machines since 1976. We implement our solutions with classic contactor technology or current automation technology. Depending on customer demands and requirements, the systems are equipped with state-of-the-art components for frequency converting, weighing devices, magnet systems and radio controls. Here at Erich Schäfer GmbH & Co. KG, the customer is king. We plan and implement the best possible solution for any customer requirement.

Furthermore, this is where we manufacture all other electrical components for the respective systems. We carry out all required tasks, from a trailing cable system on a 100 t crane and supplementing various components to the installation of complete cranes and chain hoists.

A large stock of electric articles ensures fast delivery of the required components. When a component is not in stock, our selected suppliers can ensure that your order will be dispatched within the shortest time possible.

The close cooperation between control engineering and design department allows efficient order handling. The design department develops all circuit diagrams and technical processes for the respective systems. The circuit diagrams are implemented with EPLAN 5.70 or EPLAN P8.
